Monkey Falls are natural waterfalls located near the uphill ghat road Valparai on the Pollachi-Valparai road in the Anaimalai Hills range, in Coimbatore district.[1]
Monkey Falls is about 30 km from Pollachi. Refreshing Natural Water Falls about 6 km from Azhiyar Dam. Monkey Falls is located on road connecting Pollachi and Valparai.

Aliyar Reservoir is a 6.48 km2 (2.5 sq mi) reservoir located near Pollachi town in Coimbatore DistrictTamil NaduSouth India. The dam is located in the foothills of Valparai, in the Anaimalai Hills of the Western Ghats.[3] It is about 65 kilometres (40 mi) from Coimbatore. The dam offers some ideal getaways including a park, garden, aquarium, play area and a mini Theme-Park maintained by Tamil Nadu Fisheries Corporation for visitors enjoyment. The scenery is beautiful, with mountains surrounding three quarters of the reservoir. Boating is also available.


Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore

Nehru Stadium is a football stadium and also a multi-purpose stadium in CoimbatoreTamil NaduIndia. Constructed in 1971. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds a capacity 30,000 spectators. Located in the heart of Coimbatore, near V O Chidambaram Park, Nehru Stadium is a popular venue for football tournaments, cricket matches and athletic meets. The stadium is equipped with floodlights for conducting day and night matches.It has also a 400 m athletic track with football/hockey field. Famous matches that took place here are Santosh Trophy in the 1970s and 1990s.

Black Thunder is a water theme park located in Tamil NaduIndia. It is situated at the foot of Nilgiris near Mettupalayam, in Coimbatore 40 km north of the city and occupies an area of about 75 acres (300,000 m2). The park offers about 49 rides, Surf Hill and the Wild River Ride notable among them. The park has a hotel situated within its premises. It charges Rs. 500 for children under 10 and Rs. 600 for people above 10.
It is owned by LA Group which also owns Jenney Residency on Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

Subramaniyaswami Temple, Marudamalai is a popular hill temple dedicated to Hindu god Murugan, situated near CoimbatoreTamil NaduIndia. Like most Murugan temples, the temple is situated upon a hillock, part of the Western Ghatsabout 12 km west from the city of Coimbatore.[1] Near the foothill, there is a temple for Pillayar known as the "Thaan thondri Vinaayakar". There is a cave referred to as "Paambaatti Sitthar Kugai" dedicated to a Sitthar who lived here.
Gandhipuram Parish was inaugurated in January 1955 at St.Mary’s Primary School by Fr. Peter Damian. Rt.Rev. Francis Savarimuthu blessed the place & Br.Cosmos also contributed to the construction.Fr. Cassian an American & Provincial delegate was the architect of Fatima church. The church was blessed on December 23,1962


V O Chidambaranar park and zoo (abbreviated VOC park) is a zoological garden and amusement park located in CoimbatoreTamil Nadu. As of 2013, the park houses around 890 animals including 335 birds, 106 mammals and 54 reptiles.[2] The park is named after freedom fighter V O Chidambaram Pillai and is managed by Coimbatore city Corporation.

Isha Foundation is a non-profitspiritual organization founded in 1992 by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev.[1] It is based at the Isha Yoga Center near CoimbatoreIndia and at the Isha Institute of Inner Sciences at McMinnville, Tennessee in the United States. The foundation offers yoga programs under the name Isha Yoga. It has over 5 million volunteers[2] and works in tandem with international bodies like the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
